About the Swim Team |

The Barracuda Swim Team is a co-ed competitive/recreational team for children who have completed Level 4 lessons or can swim two laps unassisted. All swimmers must be aged 17 or under. Winter Indoor practices meet at the Backman pool, Wethersfield High School. Please see the calendar pages for the practice schedule. The Barracuda Swim Stroke Clinic has two programs, one in March and one in the October. The stroke clinic focuses on stroke refinement, strength and endurance conditioning. It is strongly advised that the swimmer participate in the stroke clinic prior to joining the swim team. The swim team program relies heavily upon the support of the parent volunteers. Without these volunteers this program would not exist. |
